Since there is no clear evidence about the origins of wine, people used archaeology to search for evidences of the first wines. Though wine could not be found by digging as they probably evaportaed long ago, there are many concrete evidence which proves that people of the past kept wines. Example of these evidences are jars , remains of grapes and residue from wines. Below are the trails of the earliest wines that researchers have found so far.
