           New world wines are wines produced from countries outside Europe which breaks away from their tradition or any other rules and restriction. In the past, the wine trade only emphasize on Europe. Other wine producing countries like New Zealand, Canada and Australia were greatly ignored. In fact the total sales of wine of these countries in Europe were only about 1 percent. Today, New World Wines are increasingly popular due to the application of technologies and trained personnel.
            All these causes wine markers from the Old World to worry about their popularity which his ironic as the wine trade are first established in the Old World and passed down to the New World. Furthermore, many Old World Wine producers have to adhere to the strict appellation system which prevents them from trying other innovative way of wine making technologies.
